How to convert liters to cubic meters

1 liter is equal to 0.001 cubic meters:

1 L = (1/1000) m3 = 0.001 m3

When a volume V in liters is divided by 1000, it gives volume in cubic meters.

Vm3 = VL / 1000


Example

To convert 200 liters into cubic meters, it is divided by 1000:

(200 L) / 1000 = 0.2 m3
